Cable Plant Certification, Analysis, Troubleshooting and Documentation
Baycomm Cabling Inc. has the ability to certify, analyze and
troubleshoot Category 5 and 5e (enhanced) and Category 6 copper
cable plants and Multi mode Fiber Optic cable plants, with a Fluke DSP
4100 Cable analyzer.
Certification
Copper cable plants are certified to current standards using the
Permanent Link adapter attached to the DSP 4100. Multi mode Fiber
Optic cable plants can also be tested Bi-directionally to current
standards using the Multi mode adaptor attached to the DSP 4100.
Each cable tested is saved according to cable ID in the DSP 4100.
The certification results are then loaded into Fluke’s Linkware software
and processed. Individual cable test results are then put into Adobe .
pdf format and put on compact disk and returned to the customer for
their records.
Cable Performance Analysis
Baycomm Cabling Inc. can analyze your existing cable plant to
determine actual cable performance. From Permanent Link
assessments of the permanently installed cable infrastructure, to
Channel tests which includes the cables patch cords on both ends, as
well as Multi mode fiber optic cable plants, Baycomm Cabling Inc. can
give you an accurate view of how each cable in your existing cable
plant is performing.
